Our Plan for Spring 2025
The plan for 2025 is to take an original script into full production. We secure talent, rewrite script as needed based on that talent. Then take the story into rehearsal, record podcast episodes in studio. We film those recording sessions.
From here we scout location and shoot settings, and then live action with talent. This becomes a film and the addition of the podcast recording sessions becomes a documentary in the process to production.
These films will get circulation in International Film Festivals. And some of that film will be used in a live stage production. We hope to connect with established theaters and take the show on the road.
With the completion of another year of the Crossings International Film Festival we hope to hold a live screening event and will bring live performances to frame the films screened.

Stage one of the Crossings process is the Build.
Scripts for Production are selected.
Cast selected.
Rehearsals.
Podcast.
Most of the scripts will have been circulated in International Film Festivals and selected and awarded.

The podcast will frame the full story in audio. These recording sessions will be hosted in different locations, from studio to cafe or home.

This film work will be used as backdrop to the stage production. It will also be part of a documentary film on the Crossings process.
The film can also be used as an episode in a series, or a stand alone short film.

The third stage of Crossings is the Stage performance, where all of the work from podcast to film become the layers of the stage production.
